BMW Motorcycle Jacket Tokyo Connect GTX 2024

The BMW Motorcycle Jacket Tokyo Connect GTX is a unisex motorcycle jacket intended for all-season urban use. The jacket is innovative through its connectivity and light bands, but also through its great comfort.

The comfort of the Tokyo Connect GTX BMW jacket:

Composed of three layers of GORE-TEX Pro and a 100% polyamide exterior, the motorcycle jacket is waterproof and windproof. Its waterproofness has been tested and has a water column of 28,000mm (meaning it took 28,000mm of water before a single drop entered the jacket). With a relaxed fit, the parka-style jacket is very comfortable.

For warmer temperatures, the jacket has the AirVent system, ventilation is on the front of the jacket with a double zipper.

Usable in all seasons, the jacket has a warm removable inner lining resembling a quilted down jacket. For your comfort on the bike but also during your day, the jacket is equipped with a removable hood with adjustable width.

At the bottom of the jacket there is a zipper on each side which allows you to increase the space dedicated to the legs, in order to be more comfortable in a seated position.

There are five pockets in total on the jacket, two waterproof outer pockets and three inner pockets. The exterior pockets are both closed with a two-way zip and are large enough to hold up to an iPad.

A connected BMW Motorrad motorcycle jacket:

The big innovation with this Tokyo Connect GTX jacket is of course in its connectivity. There are bright colored stripes on the back and sleeves, a touchpad and more.

The colored light bands are directly integrated into the jacket, they are waterproof and machine washable. The colors are changeable in the RGB spectrum. Their activity can be monitored via the touchpad. These bands allow you to be better seen at night or in bad weather conditions.

The control unit (touchpad) can be connected to the BMW Motorrad Connected app via Bluetooth, which makes it possible, among other things, to add a personalized function to the touchpad (example: switching the lighting on and off, charging your smartphone, skip a song, use your intercom, view your browsing favorites, etc.). The operation of this touchpad is very intuitive, it is very easy to use.

One of the inside pockets of the jacket is dedicated to charging your smartphone. Just place your phone in your pocket and turn on the charge to get it recharged.

The jacket can be powered by an external battery or by plugging it directly into your motorcycle. The spiral cable for connection to the motorcycle is integrated, it plugs into a 12V socket.

The safety of the BMW Motorrad Tokyo Connect GTX jacket:

Visibility is therefore optimal with this jacket, but that's not all. There is also a discreet reflective strip on the hood.

The motorcycle jacket is equipped with NP Flex protectors on the joints (elbows and shoulders), a location is provided to accommodate a back protector, sold separately.

The outer composition of the jacket is very resistant and anti-abrasion, to protect your skin in the event of a fall.

The jacket is approved for protection class A, EN17092.
