I had no trouble riding in high temperatures without feeling suffocated or too hot. Riding in the rain with each of these items was not a constraint. You don't have that feeling of humidity or coldness; you stay completely dry during your journeys in unfavorable weather conditions.

What I really liked, in addition to the comfort and weather resistance of this Reschen GTX set, is the extremely versatile and functional aspect of each of these items. Firstly, thanks to the numerous pockets that make up this pants and jacket, I was able to store all my belongings (wallet, keys...), each of these pockets is easily accessible, designed to be fully closed. On the jacket, you find 4 pockets and 3 pockets on the pants, they are placed in the most intelligent way possible to facilitate their use. To finish on the practical aspect of this equipment, the pants and the jacket are equipped with a connecting zip to allow you to link the two together as a suit.
The last major point I would like to highlight is the versatility offered by the Reschen GTX set. For riders who want their equipment to be fitted and snug to the body or for riders who like to have space, the Reschen set meets your expectations. You can adjust the cut of the pants and jacket as well as the tightening at the wrist tab for the gloves. This set can adapt to all body types.

BMW Motorcycle Gear: The Pros and Cons of the BMW Reschen GTX Set

In this paragraph, I will present to you the advantages and disadvantages (even though there are not many). First and foremost, I would like to remind you that these pros and cons are based on my own experience.

You can use this set in other settings without any problems thanks to the buttons and zippers that allow you to adjust the fit and thus the comfort as you wish.

The disadvantage I have observed is the weight of this set when carrying it by hand (which is also a sign of quality and good protection). However, when wearing this gear, the feeling of heaviness disappears and the opposite effect occurs, one might believe that we do not have any gear on our back, we feel extremely light and free.

BMW Motorcycle Gear: A Comparison of BMW Reschen GTX and BMW Aravis Air

Each set of BMW Motorrad gear is specific to a riding style, and a category of use, each with its own specificities. As seen previously, the Reschen GTX set is dedicated to year-round use thanks to its Gore-Tex membrane and the structure used in its design. For the BMW Motorrad GS Rallye Air set, its use is solely dedicated to warm weather and dry conditions. The jacket, pants, and gloves in this set are not equipped with Gore-Tex but still offer great airflow thanks to the presence of mesh inserts and a mesh lining on the chest and arms. Unlike the BMW Reschen GTX set, the Aravis Air set is not waterproof or windproof, yet both sets offer excellent comfort and great efficiency in their respective areas.
